About the job

As the Product Manager for mobile propositions, you will spearhead the management of our clients’ brand expansion into mobile channels.

You are tasked with overseeing product road mapping, development, execution, and optimization in collaboration with cross-functional teams across multiple time zones and nationalities.

Your role is pivotal in driving innovative mobile products to meet commercial objectives and targets of different clients and stakeholders.

Goals

  • Develop and launch mobile apps, grow product portfolio across our client portfolio
  • Increase lead generation, enhance user experience to optimize customer journey, conversion rates, and retention

Responsibilities

Planning, execution, and innovation:

  • Conduct market and competitive research to monitor trends and conduct customer research using Business Intelligence (BI) department to develop a deep understanding of customer personas and the competitive environment
  • Brainstorm and define product vision with marketing team, focusing on innovative mobile solutions to increase user base growth
  • Develop RFPs (request for proposals), detailed product specifications, user stories and concept documents, including product vision for apps/games, technical specifications, design and content requirements
  • Create production plan, strategy, budget and targeting with ASO managers, media buying department. Manage project timelines, planning and execution
  • Products road mapping. Strategically define the product roadmap, outlining the vision, direction, priorities, and progress over time to align with business goals
  • Drive product development from research to launch, ensuring compliance with Apple App Store / Google Play guidelines
  • Lead cross-functional teams and coordinate between internal and external teams (located in different time zones) to meet project deadlines

Quality Assurance and Compliance:

  • Ensure product and feature compliance with Apple App Store/Google Play guidelines, liaising with platform review teams as required
  • Perform internal QA of apps/games, possibly setting up a separate environment for each account to ensure high quality

Data management and optimisation:

  • Implement data tagging and tracking with BI for effective conversion tracking
  • Analyse and optimise the conversion funnel using a data-driven methodology to improve effectiveness

Product distribution and communication:

  • Prepare, upload and update app metadata for multiple locales, exploring automation opportunities
  • Report status to stakeholders to ensure alignment with goals and milestones

Performance, measurement and optimisation:

  • Define and track KPIs, usage analytics and user feedback, using insights to inform product improvements and new features
  • Provide quarterly/annual forecasts for project delivery, managing the delivery and effectiveness of outsourcing partners

Qualifications And Experience


Must have:

  • Education: Degree in Business or technical field (IT, Computer Science), or equivalent
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years in Product Management driving growth via mobile applications and/or social games
  • Deep knowledge of Apple App Store Review Guidelines and Google Play Developer Program Policies, with ongoing monitoring to keep up to date
  • Familiarity with platform-specific constraints, including design limitations, Apple App Store / Google Play Store approval challenges, competitor-driven fraud traffic and competitive market dynamics, and other tactics and nuances
  • Deep hands-on experience with Apple App Store / Google Play Store, ranking/install techniques, and apps / games social monetization
  • Recent success in delivering mobile apps / games (iOS, Android)
  • Proven track record of influencing cross-functional teams
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Strong organizational capabilities and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Extensive experience in games, ecommerce, and digital/mobile/social marketing sectors
  • Proficient in A/B testing and tracking key metrics
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Team-oriented with sound judgment and ability to work under pressure
  • Go-getter attitude with a metrics-driven approach

Nice to have:

  • Understanding of Apple’s SKAdNetwork (SKAN) and Google's Privacy Sandbox regarding user privacy and ad tracking. Be able to integrate it correctly into the games/application
  • Understanding and experience of integrating mobile measurement attribution and marketing analytics platforms
